Glenn McPhee

Glenn McPhee is responsible for leading specific group-level Australian operations as an

executive director and Chief Operating Officer, including key aspects of Government and

Defence-related sales and delivery, digital transformation and strategic growth. He is the

country leader of the Talent Solutions brand portfolio in Australia, comprising Right

Management, Defence Force Recruiting and ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions.

From May 2015 to Jan 2019, Glenn was ManpowerGroup’s Director for Defence Force

Recruiting (DFR) – a public-private collaboration with the Commonwealth of Australia,

currently the largest Recruitment Process Outsourcing contract globally.

Glenn is a Veteran, retiring from the Army in 2005 as a major. Since then, Glenn has

worked for Thales Australia leading a high-profile international project and has led

ManpowerGroup’s Strategic Client Solutions business portfolio in the Middle East, before

returning to Australia in 2010.

Glenn is a qualified board director with the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He

is a former Chair and non-executive director for The Right Direction Australia (from 2017-

2018) – a not for profit company, providing positive life skills for disadvantaged youth. He

has also held a non-executive director role on the board of Defence in Business Pty Ltd

(from 2012-2015) – a not for profit connecting businesses and Australian Veterans

through tailored networking events and career opportunities
